Eldon Chlumsky
Hello, I am the Curriculum Coordinator for Middle School Technology Education, Driver
Education, Friendship Fund, and Wichita Student Technology Leadership within the Instructional Technology Department. I
have served in this role since the 1991-1992 school year. Prior to becoming
an administrator, I served as a teacher, a department chair, and a coach
at Truesdell Middle School here in Wichita from January of 1978 until the
fall of 1991.
Cindy Lubbers and I serve the High School Driver Education teachers, Middle School Technology Education teachers, and Wichita Student Technology Leadership sponsors of the Wichita Public Schools.
Annually, we accomplish budgeting procedures, automobile maintenance, teacher in-service meetings, and lots and lots of phone calls. We support Student Technology Leadership activities, Student Information System planning and deployment, and the USD 259 Friendship Fund/United Way activities.
For many years I have served on the Mid-America Association for Computers in Education (MACE) board of directors. You can find out more about the next MACE event at http://mace-ks.org.
My wife, Annette, and I enjoy three children and we gratefully support our children in a massive listing of activities. I enjoy family vacations, an active church life, working in our yard, playing tennis with our children, and playing percussion in our church's praise band. May we together serve the students of the Wichita community.
I can be reached at echlumsky@usd259.net.
