Cindy Lubbers
I have sat in many chairs in the Wichita Public Schools – Kindergarten
through graduation from North High school and then putting in 18 years
as an employee in the same school district. I’ve had the opportunity
to watch the changes that have taken place within USD 259. I believe in
working for the “good of the cause”, that being serving
our teachers and students.
As Eldon Chlumsky’s secretary, I serve the Middle School Technology Education, Driver Education, and Friendship Fund, that includes 45 teachers. I also support the sponsors/advisors of the districts Wichita Student Technology Leadership (WSTL) programs in our elementary, middle and high schools within our district - which are growing steadily with 38 organized programs to date. Look for WSTL program pages on the school web sites and see what these young leaders do.
My life has been blessed with two beautiful children that have grown up and started lives of their own. Now I can say my life is my own – I stay very busy working two jobs and any spare time is spent traveling and working on race cars. Most every weekend of the summer you’ll find me at a race track some place - I am a grease monkey at heart. You can reach me at clubbers@usd259.net.
