What is SchoolNet?
- SchoolNet is a set of online tools that help promote data-driven decision making in the classroom.
- SchoolNet allows users to easily access student data from both school and home (Via VPN).
- SchoolNet will eventually provide easy access to your curriculum resources and pacing guides.

Frequently Asked Questions
Who can have access to SchoolNet?
All classroom teachers as well as instructional support staff and
administrators will have SchoolNet accounts. Office staff and paras will not
have access.
How do I access SchoolNet?
For security purposes, you may only access SchoolNet through the WPS
Portal.
What students will I have access to in SchoolNet?
Elementary teachers will see the entire building's student population.
Secondary teachers will only see their students.
How often is information in SchoolNet updated?
Every night SchoolNet syncs with our eSIS program. This means that when you get
new students, their data will be available to you the next day.
When will all of the functionality be available in SchoolNet?
SchoolNet has feature rich and will continue to grow with us in the years to
come. Our initial focus is on the data available. Curriculum will be following
soon.
How do I navigate in SchoolNet?
Use the tabs at the top for the most part. You can also use the “Back to
Previous Page” link or the back button, though you may get a “page not found”
using that.
What does the lesson plan calendar do? Who can see it?
The lesson plan calendar feature of SchoolNet is optional. Teachers can add their lessons to it if they wish. Teachers can see their own
SchoolNet lesson plan calendars. Principals can see teachers' SchoolNet lesson
plan calendars in their building but not the lessons themselves.
Can I export data into Excel from SchoolNet?
Yes, there is a feature that lets you create your own spreadsheet by setting
the columns of data you want and then you can export it to Excel. (Analyze
Section > Student Analysis > Advanced Create Your Own Report)
Can I print an individual report on a student?
Yes, you can print a student profile. Batch printing
is also very helpful and allows you to print
information for your entire class, one student per page.
Why are some students missing some data?
Some students were tested outside of the “testing window” and their data
will not be available in SchoolNet.
How will scanners be used with SchoolNet?
Scanners will be used at all levels to scan in DCA results. For more
